Teacher's Day 2025
On September 5, 2025, the Department of English - Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University organized a special daily assembly to felicitate the teachers of Teacher's Day.
A few days before on September 2, ICT committee leaders Rajdeep Bavaliya, Rutvi Pal and Bhargav Makwana taught us how to make Google Form, how to connect Google Form to Google Sheet, and how to work with Autocrat to generate automatic certificates.
After that, all the students who have participated in this activity started uploading their videos, and September 5 was the last submission date.
Here is the Youtube video I made from my part-
This video Explores Christopher Marlowe’s The Jew of Malta (c. 1590) is a dark and provocative play that explores themes of greed, power, religion, and betrayal through the figure of Barabas, a wealthy Jewish merchant in Malta. When the Maltese authorities seize his fortune to pay tribute to the Turks, Barabas embarks on a path of ruthless revenge, employing manipulation, poison, and murder to outwit both Christians and Muslims alike. The play opens with a prologue spoken by Machiavel, linking Barabas to Machiavellian cunning and amorality, and it blends tragedy with sharp satire to critique the hypocrisy of political and religious institutions. Both shocking and compelling, the drama exposes the corrupting force of avarice and challenges the audience to question moral certainty in a world ruled by deception and power struggles.
I have also made a Ted Ed lesson for the same-
Also for viewers' further enhancement I created a google form Quiz to sharpen their knowledge-
